Don't set your student up for embarrassment by sending him to first grade without knowing how to tie.  The internet is full of short cut methods to make this an easier task.

Grandparents' Day

We are ready for Grandparents' Day!

The Cow in Patrick O'Shanahan's Kitchen

Sara Luthy and Nancy Mitchell visited our class on Monday to help us learn about some food product cycles.  Mrs. Sara shared the delightfully bizarre book, The Cow in Patrick O'Shanahan's Kitchen.  Thankfully after Patrick ate his French toast, the cow, chickens, and maple trees disappeared from his kitchen, but we are left hanging wondering what he will find in his kitchen tomorrow!

Mrs. Mitchell shared a little of her knowledge and experience about making maple syrup.

Of course, we had to sample!

It was great to have these visitors sharing their expertise in our classroom.  Thank you, friends!
