Rarely do you find a story where history, family and faith are so delicately woven as in the picture book, The Moon Over Star. This book, beautifully illustrated by award winning artist Jerry Pinkney, follows a young girl's day in the summer of 1969 when she is first inspired to dream by man's landing on the moon. I found this book quite by accident last summer at a discard sale and love it so much that I have shared a recorded reading of it below.
